Approach & Philosophy: My approach to teaching is interactive and geared toward skills development. I also emphasize bringing research & data into the classroom. My students undertake considerable writing, storytelling with data, and have opportunities to develop policy briefs and data analytic skills. I also stress the importance of scientific communication and public engagement.
