A few too many of these and you will assuredly see the lord. This week's cocktail is the Angel Face. Time to tip one. #cocktails 🍸🍹

Chill a coupe or Nick 'n Nora glass. Add the ingredients sans garnish to a mixing glass. Add the ice and stir until, well, ice cold. Fine strain into the glass, garnish and you'll see the light. 

This is a little dryer than the typical spec, and I love Calvados. In my opinion, Apple Jack does not do justice to the soft aromas and delicate palate here. 

Almonds have an historic affinity for apricots - Almond extract is often made with apricot pits (or peach pits) not almonds. Don't get a heavy hand though or the Bitters steal the show.
