Chill a coupe or Nic 'n Nora glass. In a mixing glass add your ingredients sans garnish and absinthe. Add ice and stir down the drink until we'll chilled. Retrieve your glass and spritz with the Absinthe. Fine strain the drink and add your cherry. 

You can make this with orange juice not clarified. If you do, you'll want to shake it. Also, a variation replace Absinthe with 1/4 oz Benedictine is very good. You have options.
