Bamboo
Potion:
- 1 1/2 oz Fino Sherry
- 1 1/2 oz Blanc Vermouth @vermouthdolin
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
- Orange Peel
Procedure:
Stir this one until well-chilled. Serve up. Light, refreshing, and great flavor at low ABV.
Lots of recipes call for dry Vermouth. I like the subtle touch of sweet in Dolin Blanc here. The other way would be to pivot to Amontillado Sherry for the same super subtle sweetness.
Manzanilla Sherry is a great twist as well, if you like some sea-spray. Lots of options. Hard to beat a two-ingredient stirred drink for a Zen cocktail experience. And less labor... Happy Labor Day.
